  • Reporting to the Director of US Surgical Sales Analytics, the Sales Reporting Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales related data in an on-going effort to provide insightful reports and dashboards to the sales channel that will increase sales productivity. 
  • The Sales Reporting Analyst will develop and maintain both standardized and custom reports, conduct key sales analysis, participate in cross functional projects, and will support sales managers with accurate and meaningful reporting and data analysis.
  • Collect, analyze, evaluate and report data that provides actionable information on customer targets and gaps.
  • Automate and document processes to simplify and streamline administrative tasks and work flow.
  • Assist with the development, management, and maintenance of sales tools.
  • Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed by the Sales Analytics Director.

Sales Reporting (Customers):

  • Ensure timely, accurate sales reporting across all channels
  • Working with the channel Sr. Business Analyst, ensure reporting requests are prioritized and aligned appropriately to channel objectives.
  • Propose and deliver process improvements where ever possible.
  • Ensure Business Objects publications and reports and email distribution lists are updated as needed.

Manage field sales Contest and Awards Reporting (Customers):

  • Ensure timely, accurate awards and promotion reporting
  • Awards - Find opportunities to stream line process.
  • Awards - Create and manage to an end of year/National Sales Meeting preparation timeline & deliverables document.
  • Promotions – Work with channel leaders and Sr. Business Analyst (and Marketing if necessary) to develop the front end dashboard to ensure the biggest impact possible in our promotions reporting.
  • Sales Analytics Training (Customers):
  • Assist Sr. Business Analyst in delivering structured /targeted training of reports and how to utilize the reports to find opportunities in their customer base.
  • Provide necessary support to help deliver comprehensive onboarding Sales Analytics sales training when required

Reporting efficiencies (Process):

  • Capacity to quickly learn and contribute to internal sales metrics, models, and reports that drive the business.
  • With the Sr. Business Analyst and sales management, develop and maintain key performance indicators including sales performance to quota, sales growth and trend analysis, forecasting, regression, cannibalization, product adoption, return on investment, and cost of sales.



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, or IT required
  • Licenses/Certifications



  • Programing experience. SQL, SAS are desirable.
  • 3+ years in an analytical role; (Sales Analyst, Accounting/Finance or Data Analyst roles in Medical Device are a plus)
  • Competencies
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required. (Dynamic Modeling, Advanced Formulas including vlookup and sumif, Pivots, VBA).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to query large datasets utilizing a variety of Business Intelligence tools, including Business Objects and Discoverer.
  • Strong understanding of Relational Databases, Data Warehouses, and Data Modeling.
  • Experience with Share Point, SAP and CRM systems desirable but not required.
  • Independence: Independence in development and support of complex models, trackers and automated reports.

  • Will be building Sales Models with large data sets (millions of records).
  • Supporting analytical data for 800 sales personnel
