Description

  • BS degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering with 8 years working within a medical device manufacturing company with primary responsibility for manufacturing process development and/or product costing
  • Experience with DFM, DTC and DTV
  • Experience with developing Should Cost analyses of components and high-level assemblies manufactured with electronics, machining, fabrication and/or injection molding processes
  • Proficient in the development of presentations that effectively communicate analytic results, appropriate for multiple levels in the organization.
  • Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner Experience with DFM, DTC and DTV Must have a solid working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement methodologies Experience in supporting and/or leading negotiations
  • Able to influence stakeholder’s decision using robust data to support the recommended solution.
  • Interactive interpersonal skills and a collaborative communication style Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results
  • Capability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Black Belt Certification is a plus
  • Design for Cost Design for Value model experience
  • Capacity assessment experience
  • Understanding how suppliers manufacture and precious metal knowledge
  • Medical device experience a plus
  • Design for manufacturing, design for cause, design for Value experience
