Job Title: Administrator Construction Manager
Location: Lakeville, Minnesota
Duration: 6 months
Job Description:
- We’re seeking an Administrator Construction Manager to oversee OSP Construction activities performed by our contractors. This role ensures that projects are completed to the highest quality standards, within budget, and in compliance with State, local, and company requirements. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll be coordinating with various departments, utilities, and municipalities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee permitting requirements, including Work Zone Protection (WZP) and Traffic Control plans (TCP)
- Ensure project timelines are met
- Conduct pre and post-project inspections
- Manage project materials
- Ensure accurate reporting and record-keeping
- Attend pre-construction meetings
- Monitor project expenditures for accuracy and budget requirements
- Investigate and report on plant damage
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of OSP Construction Standards and Practices
- Familiarity with OSP Unit Descriptions and SSP contracts
- Understanding of State, Local, and Company safety standards
- Minimum five years of combined Outside Plant construction and splicing experience
- Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather, extended driving, and lifting and carrying of moderately heavy objects
- Willingness to work overtime, be on-call periodically for nights and weekends
- Valid driver’s license
