Job Title: Associate Fraud Strategy Data Scientist
Location: San Jose, CA – Hybrid
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement rules to detect and mitigate fraud.
- Develop Python scripts and models to support fraud strategies.
- Investigate large or novel fraud cases and identify root causes.
- Set strategies for various risk types and collaborate with product/engineering teams to enhance control capabilities.
- Develop and present strategies, guiding their execution.
- Work closely with team members and stakeholders to design and manage fraud strategies that address emerging trends.
Skills Required:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, including key data science libraries.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Ability to work with large datasets and communicate complex results effectively.
- Experience in risk analytics, data analysis, and data science, particularly in eCommerce or online payments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- Familiarity with AWS and knowledge of fraud investigations is a plus.
