We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Lab Support Coordinator to join our dedicated lab service team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting research groups by ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory facilities.

Job Summary:

  • As an Associate Lab Support Coordinator, you will be the central point of contact for our lab staff, coordinating essential services and maintaining a well-functioning lab environment. Your efforts will enable our researchers to focus on their groundbreaking work by providing seamless support and efficient problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary Contact: Serve as the main liaison for lab staff, addressing and coordinating all laboratory needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to deliver outstanding lab support services.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and notify the inventory team about supply shortages, ensuring our labs are always well-stocked.
  • Waste Coordination: Manage and coordinate waste removal with third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with waste disposal protocols.
  • Vendor Liaison: Escort and coordinate third-party vendor visits for maintenance and repairs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly meet with key stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and maintain high standards of compliance.
  • Communication: Keep lab users informed with timely updates and service work requests.

Skills Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role
  • 2+ years of experience in a scientific environment
  • Professional Certification or Associate’s degree in Project Management, Six Sigma, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Familiarity with GLP/GxP and compliance-driven environments
  • Experience with 5S principles
  • Basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety
  • Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure to balance conflicting deadlines
  • Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions.
  • Technical problem-solving skills and attention to details.
  • Excellent customer service skills complemented by an ability to listen to and interpret client requests.
