Job Title: Category Merchandising 3
Location: Beaverton, OR (Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage Women’s Apparel assortments for one of our client’s largest global apparel partners.
- Foster cross-functional relationships both internally and externally, including merchandising, sales, planning, marketing, and external buying teams.
- Stay updated with Women’s fashion trends and consumer needs to drive the future of Women’s Apparel.
- Lead communications on business performance, consumer trends, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare for and lead key seasonal meetings with cross-functional partners and our client’s account.
- Partner with Planning and Sales on assortment style/color level forecasts, invest/divest strategies, and franchise health.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, or combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
- 5+ years of experience in Merchandising, Product Management, Buying in Women’s Apparel for a large national retailer/brand.
- Strong preference for experience working with an external account.
- Consumer-centric mindset and strong merchandising and retail acumen.
- Proficiency with Keynote, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills.
