Job Title: Contracts Manager
Location: Waltham, MA
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain contract strategies and delivery models for our client's Electric capital portfolio.
- Support the Program Team in engaging with the Business Unit, ensuring their procurement and supply chain needs are met.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies, providing strategic and commercial insight, and supply chain risk mitigation recommendations.
- Work across teams within Procurement to support the overall category management effort.
- Gather and organize facts and data from various information sources, including internal stakeholders and external experts.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders in aligning their efforts with the firm’s strategic plan.
Skills Required:
- Experience in large-scale complex construction, specifically transmission, and contract negotiation.
- Proven ability to oversee large-scale, complex contracting initiatives with a focus on cost control and risk mitigation.
- Relationship management experience, driving commercial value and performance through contracts.
- Ability to independently lead projects or work streams, from project scoping to generating insights driven by analysis.
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines.
- Expert use of Excel and PowerPoint to create and present actionable insights gathered from data to senior level executives.
