Job Title: Remote Copy Editor
Join a global leader in entertainment services. We’re on the hunt for a skilled Copy Editor to bolster our Technology Services and Product teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for our worldwide author network, editing technical and user-oriented content.
- Manage metadata for our CMS, Contentful, and guide new authors.
- Enhance our publication workflow, covering for absent publishers and proposing workflow improvements.
- Utilize best practices, style guides, and content templates to ensure content efficiency and consistency.
- Offer editorial and CMS support for teams transitioning content to our Knowledge Platform.
- Work with external partners to align various content types with our Knowledge Platform standards.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience editing support or educational content for non-technical audiences within a large or complex organization.
- Experience in editing technical documentation and translating it into accessible, accurate content.
- Proficiency with AP Style or similar style guide.
- Ability to manage multiple editorial projects with different deadlines.
- Strong communication, collaboration, time management, and organizational skills.
- Experience with a CMS, preferably Contentful.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines.
- Experience with Jira project management tracking.
- Familiarity with data analytics platforms, preferably Tableau or Full story.
- Based in Eastern time zone for optimal collaboration with our European authors.
- Professional fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, French, or Hindi is a plus but not a requirement.
