Job Title: Customer Support Specialist I

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Specialist I for their Customer Support Services team. This role is integral to our client’s commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of orders, managing sales data, and contributing to the enhancement of the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with the commercial team to ensure the accurate and prompt processing of all orders.
- Manage and update sales data within the designated software systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively and promptly with all internal and external customers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the order process to maintain and enhance the customer experience.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of product details and shipping requirements by fostering strong relationships with the shipping and logistics team.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accurate and timely order entry, and collaborate within a team to maintain high-quality service.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in a customer service role with a demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Experience in the life science industry is advantageous, but not mandatory.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience with a customer relationship management system is desirable.
