Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
- The Data Analyst will be entrusted with the responsibility of conducting comprehensive data analysis and formulating precise requirements. The role involves coding solutions and collaborating with partners to transition prototypes into production. The incumbent will provide support to one or multiple data domains of the Retail Business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and write requirements
- Code solutions and work with partners to implement prototypes into production
- Support one or multiple data domains of the Retail Business
- Partner with technology to gather requirements, drive solutions, and implement business rules into production
- Document data assets, issue resolutions, and complete ad hoc requests
- Navigate small and large scale initiatives to support the data domain
Skills Required:
- Experience with programming on Hadoop, Teradata, and/or Oracle platforms in SQL, Spark, and Python
- Experience working with relational databases, big data, unstructured data files, and understanding data warehouse/ ETL concepts
- Experience with Oozie, Slurm, Iceberg, or similar automation tools
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau, Elastic Stack, and Power BI
- Ability to create process flows and develop and maintain both technical and process/procedural documentation
Preferred Skills:
- Good working understanding of Agile framework, Jira, Confluence, and Git repositories
- Knowledge of retail lending (loans, deposits, etc.)
- Ability to conduct in-depth technical discussions with both technology partners and business stakeholders
