Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Austin, Texas
Job Summary: We are seeking an accomplished professional to join our partner’s Aerospace, Defense, and Government Business Unit. Our team focuses on designing and deploying custom engineering solutions that enable large-scale, turnkey deployment of advanced products for diverse, high-profile clients.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers, sales teams, engineering groups, alliance partners, and contract manufacturers to define, document, design, deploy, and sustain custom solutions tailored to specific client requirements.
- Generate requirements documentation, statements of work, and bills of materials supporting robust solution delivery.
- Develop and implement project plans, manage milestones, and conduct reviews to ensure successful system deployment and readiness.
- Direct technical support personnel, oversee project technical deliverables, and lead resolution of field issues; support occasional domestic and international travel up to 25%.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering Technology.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience in hardware systems design or test engineering design roles.
- Demonstrated understanding of electrical engineering concepts, electronics, and computer architectures, with experience integrating hardware and software solutions.
- US citizenship and eligibility to work on ITAR projects and qualify for DoD security clearances.
