Job Title: Electrical/I&C Field Engineer
Location: Holtsville, NY
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our client to provide technical expertise during design reviews and construction.
- Review and provide feedback on drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with codes and client requirements.
- Oversee contractor operations, ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications for electrical and instrumentation components.
- Evaluate equipment purchase specifications and manufacturers’ proposals.
- Inspect installations to verify adherence to engineering drawings and codes.
- Approve site mark-ups to ensure accurate as-built documentation.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of field experience, ideally with 15+ years.
- Experience in LNG, Power, or Oil and Gas plant engineering is preferred.
- Familiarity with EPC contracts.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently and build effective relationships.
