Job Title: Engineer II
Location: Liverpool, NY – Hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team to maintain the control system database, modeling the electric system topology.
- Coordinate with field personnel to update the SCADA database, operating displays, and commission field equipment.
- Provide daily EMS support, addressing the needs of control room staff, field personnel, and other users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data and display discrepancies affecting control center and field operations.
- Work with various teams to prioritize and complete tasks that impact company objectives.
- Coordinate weekly updates with control rooms and stakeholders.
Skills Required:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and diagrams.
- Familiarity with commercial relational databases like Oracle, SQL, or Postgres.
- Experience with commercial control systems such as Hitachi/ABB, GE, or OSI is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
