Job Title: Engineer III
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Join our team as an Engineer III, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our client’s LNG Plant meets all regulatory requirements. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and updating all plant drawings, complying with the company’s Process Safety Program, and managing the company’s electronic drawing program.
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize AutoCAD software to prepare routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, and diagrams.
- Maintain an organized file system for production drawings and manage changes to the database.
- Create and revise drawings, including detail and assembly drawings.
- Prepare and maintain general arrangements, mechanical, and P&IDs (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Report on-site to perform field verifications for P&IDs and other drawings.
- Develop and maintain an asset drawing register and standard drawing naming structure.
Skills Required:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or 5 years of practical experience.
- Knowledge and experience in LNG processes preferred.
- Understanding of plant Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s) with the ability to edit and verify.
- Strong organizational skills to implement field verification program, report on the results and provide resolutions to findings.
- Excellent computer skills and strong AutoCAD skills.
- Strong verbal and writing skills to ensure effective communications.
