Opportunity for an Equipment System Engineer!

Location: Fully Onsite in Thousand Oaks, CA

Competitive Compensation: $39/hr – $41/hr

Are you an experienced engineer with a background in GMP/FDA cleanroom operations? We’re seeking a talented individual to join us as an Equipment System Engineer. In this role, you’ll be responsible for hands-on troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment, executing continuous improvement projects, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Hands-On Troubleshooting: Actively troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead the implementation of projects aimed at enhancing equipment performance and productivity.
  • Coordination of Work Orders: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate Maximo work orders for efficient execution.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Review and manage spare parts inventory, calibrations, and preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Collaboration with Maintenance Teams: Work closely with maintenance teams on calibration, work order support, preventative maintenance, and inventory management.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • GMP/FDA Cleanroom Background: Experience and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FDA regulations related to cleanroom operations.
  • Hands-On Equipment Troubleshooting: Proficiency in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment issues through practical, hands-on methods.
  • Continuous Improvement: Ability to identify opportunities for process optimization and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Effective coordination and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, maintenance, and planning/scheduling.
  • Inventory Management: Skill in managing equipment spare parts inventory and coordinating preventative maintenance schedules for optimal equipment performance.
