Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)
Job Summary:
- Join our team as a Finance Manager at our client’s location in Phoenix, AZ. This role is pivotal in leading financial reporting and technical accounting applications, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and managing inventory among other tasks. The successful candidate will be comfortable working irregular hours, including rotation shifts, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Maintain product costs and manage inventory
- Perform inventory write-offs & reserves analysis
- Track manufacturing overhead and perform variance analysis
- Participate in Business Unit meetings, preparing financial results package and cost data
- Assist with internal and external audits, as needed.
Skills Required:
- BA or BS in Accounting and/or Finance; CPA preferred
- Minimum 3 years of Cost Accounting experience with at least 2 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing finance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
