Job Title: I&E Project Engineer II
Location: Houston, TX
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and install process control systems and related projects
- Provide technical support for process control, instrumentation, and measurement technologies
- Offer engineering and design expertise for control system upgrades, Burner Management System upgrades, and shutdown system upgrades
- Provide guidance and support for process control project scope and estimates
- Participate in operational training related to these systems
Skills Required:
- Engineering Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing process control systems and I&E-related functions for plant and pipeline facilities
- Expert knowledge of industry standards (NFPA-70E, NFPA-87, API-500, ISA & IEC)
- Understanding of basic and complex regulatory control & safety systems
- Proficiency in Engineering and Design of PLC Based Control systems and Motor Control Schematic wiring and functionality
- Detailed knowledge of Honeywell C300 systems, Triconex CX, and Allen Bradley PLCs is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to work both independently and with others in the organization
Additional Information:
- Travel may be required up to 25% of the time
- A TWIC Card is required for this position
