Job Title: IT Systems Analyst I
We are seeking a dedicated IT Systems Analyst I for our Oracle eBusiness Systems. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, providing application support for customizations and extensions in Finance or Oracle Projects. The successful candidate will interact with core business users, participate in change management activities, and contribute to service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide functional and limited technical support for Oracle eBusiness Systems Modules in Finance and Projects.
- Collaborate with customers to understand system specifications and business/technical requirements, creating spec documents that meet their needs.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and recommend workarounds and/or corrective actions.
- Use diagnostic scripts, SQL, and other query writing tools to analyze data, extract data for ad hoc reporting, and identify data constraints and integrity issues.
- Conduct user acceptance testing on defect fixes, features, and system improvements, ensuring acceptance criteria are met.
- Utilize project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with an accounting major, or 5 years of related industry experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working and supporting Oracle eBusiness Modules, preferably in Finance and/or Oracle Projects.
- Ability to review and understand programming logic constructs used in Workflow, Apex, and BI Publisher Reports.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL, PL/SQL.
- Experience working in a multi-developer, team environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) is a plus.
