Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Orchard Park, NY
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety compliance by implementing site safety goals and participating in safety activities.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing processes and work instructions, updating ERP routings as needed.
- Identify needs for standard or special gauging and equipment for production.
- Resolve manufacturing issues promptly and complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Enhance process effectiveness using Lean Six Sigma tools and support 5S initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow, quality, and safety.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Visual Control implementations.
- Experience with tooling development for mechanical and electrical products.
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) principles.
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement and root cause problem-solving activities.
