Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Ontario, CA (Onsite)
Job Summary:
Join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer, where you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing production processes and ensuring quality standards. You’ll be responsible for integrating new technologies and optimizing manufacturing operations to drive efficiency and innovation.
Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and execute subprojects within the Product Development Lifecycle Management (PDLM) system, focusing on specific manufacturing technologies.
• Develop and implement quality control plans and work instructions, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Oversee equipment installation and support process ramp-up, ensuring smooth transitions to full-scale production.
• Provide factory input during project milestones, ensuring manufacturing considerations are addressed for successful project completion.
• Implement design changes and process enhancements to improve product functionality and efficiency.
• Optimize manufacturing processes and equipment to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Skills Required:
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and process improvements.
• Proficiency in quality monitoring and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with equipment installations and product lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and cost optimization techniques.
• Ability to apply analytical skills to resolve medium complexity requests.
• Familiarity with CAPA methodologies and design for manufacturability (DFM).
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• No prior experience required with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 4 years of experience with Vocational Education in relevant fields.
Preferred Certification:
• Lean Six Sigma or equivalent.
