Job Title: Master Data Specialist
Location: Summit, NJ (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a Master Data Specialist to support and optimize electronic systems such as LIMS, ERP, and MES. This role involves data verification, system integration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of cGMP requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, review, and maintain Master Data for electronic systems, ensuring data verification and system integration (LIMS, ERP, and MES).
- Create and execute computer system validation documents, providing guidance to QC end users on system enhancements.
- Offer operational support for electronic systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Lead project, CAPA, and deviation/investigation tasks, as well as continuous improvement efforts.
- Propose and implement system improvements to optimize business processes and efficiency.
- Train and mentor team members on the use and operation of electronic systems.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in understanding, following, interpreting, and applying Global Regulatory and cGMP requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work.
- Advanced technical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with peers, department management, and cross-functional teams.
- Mentoring, coaching, influencing, negotiating, and personnel interaction skills.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in science or related engineering field.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in LIMS, ELN, and laboratory data analysis systems, preferably in a regulated environment.
- Knowledge of analytical and microbiological test methods and environmental monitoring programs preferred.
- Demonstrated technical writing skills.
- Proven experience with validation and/or maintenance of laboratory information systems.
