Job Title: Medical Affairs Data Analytics Associate
Join our team as an Medical Affairs Data Analytics Associate. You’ll be a key player in implementing processes for data structure, connectivity, access, analytics, visualization, and reporting. You’ll also serve as a bridge, translating business priorities to our internal and external data engineering and technical teams. Your role will be crucial in enabling cross-functional analytics and assisting with automation, quality assurance, and control of Medical Affairs reporting and dissemination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and report on field medical interaction and insights data
- Streamline the routing of medical data review/approval activities through automation and internal processes and systems
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality in medical affairs data management
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to aggregate unique data sources and integrate them into new and existing visualization platforms
- Support external vendor projects in collaboration with our client’s stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements and standards for medical affairs activities
Skills Required:
- Experience and interest in data analytics and familiarity with data programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python), data analysis platforms (e.g., R, MatLab), data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, ThoughtSpot), cloud-based data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake)
- Experience in utilizing AI solutions to facilitate analytics of structured and unstructured data preferred (e.g., generative AI, NLP, keyword analysis, sentiment analysis, taxonomy/ontology development)
- Experience with Salesforce/Veeva data preferred
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required, and preferred experience with Microsoft automation tools (e.g., Power Automate)
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action, excellent analytical skills, and an ability to simply communicate complex issues and orchestrate plans to resolve/mitigate challenges
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, excellent organizational/time management skills, and be able to collaborate and align with diverse, cross-functional teams
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience preferred
