Job Summary:
Join our client as a Millwright III in La Porte, Texas, where you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for overtime and potential for permanent placement.
Job Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain stationary industrial machinery using hand and power tools.
• Inspect machinery to identify and fix irregularities.
• Operate machine tools for part fabrication during maintenance.
• Ensure safety devices are functional post-repair and installation.
• Maintain detailed maintenance reports and documentation.
Skills Required:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and tool dexterity.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Note: Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work in various physical positions and conditions. Safety certification and TWIC card required.
