Job Title: Network Analyst
Location: Hybrid Role – Columbia, SC (Onsite on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and as needed)
Join our dedicated team that plays a pivotal role in maintaining the security, efficiency, and reliability of our client's network infrastructure. We are seeking a Network Analyst who will focus on network operations across multiple platforms, analyze technical architecture, and support the planning, design, installation, and implementation of network infrastructure. This role involves implementing security remediations, managing migrations, and providing support for new business applications in a fast-paced, multi-platform environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze workload, including traffic and utilization trends, and provide analytical support to team members
- Compile and analyze operational data, direct tests to establish standards for new designs or modifications
- Confer with technical specialists to evaluate hardware/software interfaces and system performance requirements
- Ensure network compliance with audit requirements, address vulnerabilities, and maintain effective security/backup and disaster recovery processes
- Monitor network performance to identify necessary adjustments and anticipate future changes
- Stay updated on advancements in network technology to keep knowledge and skills current
Skills Required:
- Advanced technical knowledge of networking, communications, and related hardware/software
- Strong understanding of technical problems/solutions in current and future business environments
- Proficiency with network technologies and platforms, with excellent problem analysis skills
- Ability to gather, analyze, and troubleshoot network issues effectively
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong troubleshooting skills
Technical Skills:
- Required: Palo Alto Firewall, F5
- Nice to Have: Cisco ACI, Ansible, GitHub
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or 4 years of job-related work experience, or 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate’s Degree in a related field
- 6 years of network or related experience
- Preferred Certifications: CCNP, CCNA
