Job Title: Network Engineer III
Location: Houston, Texas
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with application teams to design, implement, and maintain network security platforms for both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Develop and execute test cases and regression plans; conduct unit and peer testing.
- Document processes, guidelines, and technical specifications; create network and system architecture diagrams.
- Provide daily support with strong analytical skills for troubleshooting; available for after-hours emergency support.
- Conduct system and application patching during scheduled maintenance windows.
Skills Required:
- 5+ years in network security engineering.
- Proficient with network security management platforms like SIEM and NDR (e.g., Splunk, Palo Alto).
- Expertise in Palo Alto Firewall and WAN technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and SASE.
- Solid understanding of IP routing protocols and network performance monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
