Job Title: Network Permitting Specialist
Location: Columbia, MD (Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit zoning and permitting applications; track progress and address jurisdictional requests.
- Collaborate with design teams to develop permit drawings and construction documents.
- Provide timely updates and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead entitlement discussions in customer meetings and serve as a subject matter expert on telecom municipal codes.
- Ensure compliance with federal wireless deployment legislation and FCC orders.
- Coordinate with internal teams to manage permit and construction compliance, ensuring project timelines are met.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in zoning and MS Suite, including Excel and database systems.
- Understanding of Federal Wireless Facilities Deployment legislation and FCC orders.
- Experience in planning, zoning, or land use within a municipality or wireless industry.
- Strong communication skills for public and governmental presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and solve problems effectively.
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
