Job Title: Network Permitting Specialist
Location: Remote (MST hours)
Job Summary:
- Join our client as a Network Permitting Specialist, where you’ll play a crucial role in securing necessary approvals to ensure timely and budget-friendly network deployments. This position requires effective communication and a strong understanding of jurisdictional codes and utility companies
Job Responsibilities:
- Obtain necessary entitlements and approvals for network installations in public rights of way.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and completion of milestone tasks.
- Review and ensure compliance of drawings with jurisdictional standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and meet project milestones.
- Communicate with jurisdictional staff regarding laws, codes, and ordinances.
- Provide zoning and permitting expertise during customer meetings.
Skills Required:
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage complex, high-volume tasks.
- Familiarity with utility companies and jurisdictional codes.
- Experience in municipal planning or land use.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced industry.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in municipal planning, land use, or the wireless industry.
