Job Title: NOC Technician
Location: Canonsburg, PA (Hybrid)
Join our dynamic team as a NOC Technician, where you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our client’s network operations. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with in-office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and remote work on Thursday and Friday. The role operates on a 2nd shift schedule, from 2 PM – 10 PM EST, five days a week, with occasional weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary support for Small Cell Operations, managing devices, analyzing alarms, and taking steps to restore service.
- Collaborate with field operations and Tier 2 support for network equipment issues.
- Respond to client requests, notify clients of network problems, and communicate business impacts.
- Review and monitor changes to network infrastructure.
- Use provided systems and tools to surveil and monitor the DAS & Small Cell networks, and resolve network alarms.
- Provide first contact for large-scale outages and provide feedback on outages for customers, contractors, technicians, and other involved employees.
Skills Required:
- Associates degree or equivalent technical training in electronics or IT.
- 3-5 years of customer service and/or service dispatch experience.
- Knowledge of wireless telecommunications network management systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn specialized system tools.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented with strong written and verbal skills.
