Job Title: Patient Support Specialist

Location: Onsite at Pittsburgh, PA

We are seeking a dedicated Specialist in Patient Support Services to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to the company’s mission of providing exceptional healthcare services and facilitating patient access to prescription medications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of a supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for delivering patient healthcare services and facilitating access to prescription medications.
  • The role involves direct interaction with patients, physicians, and pharmacies to ensure the seamless operation of our client’s copay assistance programs.
  • The Specialist will be tasked with providing a high-quality patient experience from initiation to completion, offering comprehensive program information, eligibility details, reimbursement support, and general assurances.
  • The incumbent will respond to inbound and outbound calls from patients, physicians, and pharmacies, addressing their care access and reimbursement needs.
  • The Specialist will refer requests for escalation as needed and collaborate with internal teams such as Program Management and IT to resolve issues.
  • The role may also involve performing other tasks as required by the organization.
  • Must be able to commute along with a reliable transportation to 6000 Park Ln ,Robinson Township, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania 15275

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • The candidate must possess a High School diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare or case management in a high-volume contact center or similar environment is required.
  • Experience in pharmacy benefits, health care insurance, and/or medical billing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Call Center operating metrics and performance management is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English is required; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • The candidate must have excellent communication skills, a high level of empathy, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
