Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Support Specialist to join our team in Whippany, NJ. In this role, you will provide critical assistance to patients by ensuring timely access to prescription medications through our client's copay assistance programs. This position requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering a seamless and empathetic patient experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient support, ensuring access to prescription medications through our client's copay assistance programs.
  • Engage with patients, physicians, and pharmacies to facilitate care and reimbursement needs.
  • Deliver a seamless patient experience by offering program information, eligibility guidance, and reimbursement support.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, focusing on patient empathy and enhancing the consumer experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated issues and ensure smooth program operations.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as mail sorting and claims processing.

Skills Required:

  • Experience in a high-volume contact center or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy benefits, healthcare insurance, or medical billing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in call center software like Five9 or In-Contact is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on empathy and customer service.
  • Ability to adapt to various situations and solve problems effectively.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
