Job Title: Skilled Press Operator
Location: Greenville, SC (Onsite)
Our client is seeking a skilled press operator with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Hamilton presses, producing high-quality products that meet our client’s stringent standards. This role is integral to our client’s operations, and as such, the individual will be expected to contribute significantly to the team’s overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Hamilton presses in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring the production of high-quality products that align with our client’s standards.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Lithographic (Offset) and Flexographic printing methods, and apply these methods effectively in the production process.
- Adjust press components as necessary to guarantee safe operation and the production of quality products.
- Verify the accuracy, quality, and conformance of all materials used to specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain all required documentation meticulously and ensure the proper labeling of materials.
- Provide assistance to other operators and set up numbering machines as required.
Essential Skills:
- Mechanical aptitude to diagnose and adjust press issues, ensuring safe operation and the production of quality products.
- Mathematical proficiency to calculate job requirements accurately.
- Ability to comprehend and implement job requirements effectively.
- Basic proficiency in the English language and the ability to understand work-related documents.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Ability to identify causes of operation errors and make informed decisions to correct them.
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Experience is required.
- Inexperienced Pressman – Must complete the twelve-week Training program on site.
- Experienced Pressman – Must have a minimum of five years’ experience in operating a printing press.
Language Proficiency:
- English (Speak, Read, Write)
