Job Title: Process Development Engineer
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (Hybrid – 3 days a week onsite)
Join our team in Thousand Oaks, CA, where we are seeking a dedicated Process Development Engineer to support our Drug Substance Technology Engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to apply your cell culture and purification process engineering knowledge in a dynamic manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide process engineering support for human therapeutic products from clinical development to commercial production
- Apply cell culture and purification process engineering knowledge in support of technology transfer and clinical/commercial drug substance manufacturing
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, analytical, and bench scientists to support our innovative manufacturing suite using single-use technology
Skills Required:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in drug and animal cells, with strong process knowledge
- Experience in biologics purifications and drug substance GMP manufacturing
- Background in biotech, with cell culture and/or purification experience
- Experience in drug substance biologics process development, pilot plant, or manufacturing technical support
- Experience in purifying monoclonal antibodies
- Experience in a GMP environment, preferably in drug substance
