Job Title: Procurement Agent 3
Location: Rosemead, CA (Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing and negotiation for wireless carriers, broadband services, and connected devices for our client’s telecom projects.
- Develop procurement strategies that align with program and company goals, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and implement improvement plans to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Utilize project management tools to oversee supplier performance, focusing on technical, quality, cost, and schedule metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction strategies across procurement processes.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of seven years in supply chain, procurement, or contract management, with a focus on telecom systems.
- Strong experience in wireless/cellular networks and private telecommunications systems.
- Proficient in financial analysis, cost management, and supply chain methodologies.
- Ability to negotiate complex contracts and agreements effectively.
- Familiarity with procurement tools like Ariba is a plus.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity standards related to telecom infrastructure.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong procurement expertise — hands-on experience with RFPs, RFQs, contract reviews, and pricing negotiations in large-scale programs.
- Deep telecom and carrier services knowledge — including mobility, networking, billing management, and industry applications.
- Proficiency with procurement tools (preferably Ariba or SAP) and ability to collaborate cross-functionally on telecom infrastructure and operations initiatives.
