Job Title: Procurement Category Manager
Location: Fully remote, preference for candidates local to Montvale, NJ
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies for purchasing technology products and services, leveraging expertise in AV sourcing.
- Lead the creation and execution of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotes (RFQs), collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Negotiate contract terms with suppliers, ensuring beneficial terms and compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Conduct data analysis and create financial models to support strategic sourcing projects.
- Influence organizational practices, challenge the status quo, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners.
- Manage supplier performance, encourage continuous improvement, and address performance issues proactively.
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in strategic sourcing, contract writing, negotiations, supplier management, outsourcing, and project management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate within a complex organizational structure.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven skills in analysis, finance, problem-solving, and organization.
- Bachelor’s degree is required, master’s degree is desirable.
- Specific experience in Audio/Visual sourcing is essential.
