Job Title: Project Manager General
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager General to oversee a range of transmission line, substations, and communications construction. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and complex projects, reporting directly to the Lead Project Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage 10-20 projects from inception to completion
- Develop project work plans with Engineering & Client Stakeholders
- Coordinate environmental and non-environmental permitting review and submittal
- Develop RFP packages for construction bid events
- Drive schedule and project progress during construction
- Maintain and be accountable for project budget and financial forecast updates.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of high voltage transmission line or substation construction project management experience
- Detailed knowledge in substations, networks/telecommunications, or transmission lines
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel within a 1-3 hr radius from reporting location
