Job Title: Proposal Strategist
The Proposal Specialist will be responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive proposal strategies, including the management of the Request For Proposal (RFP) process, end game, and checkmate stages for our client’s business development proposals. This role is integral to our client’s success, requiring a dynamic individual who can collaborate effectively with various teams and contribute to the creation of unique value propositions that enhance our client’s competitive standing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute proposal plans, including the RFP process, end game, and checkmate for our client’s business development proposals.
  • Collaborate with business development and project management teams to create unique value propositions that enhance our client’s competitive edge.
  • Conduct pink team reviews and modify marketing materials based on feedback and requests.
  • Oversee post-submission activities, including interviews during the checkmate phase.
  • Support the development of key metrics, such as change orders, safety, budget, schedule, diversity goals, and community involvement activities.
  • Represent our client at professional associations, conferences, and trade shows, building a professional network.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field, plus a minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales within a professional services firm. Experience at an A/E firm is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign is strongly preferred.
  • Certification as a Proposal Management Professional (APMP) is preferred.
  • Adherence to all policies and standards.
