Job Title: Quality Control Inspector III
Location: Houston, Texas

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical decision-maker on behalf of our client during construction projects.
  • Review and approve work performed by construction companies on behalf of our client.
  • Supervise construction, cutover activities, and inspection of project work.
  • Track engineered drawing redlines during construction, cutover, and commissioning.
  • Develop control system improvements to reduce potential for safety and environmental impact.
  • Support the preparation of job plans, construction scope of work, and Request For Proposal providing technical guidance on construction details.

Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 10 years work history as an Electrician or Instrument Technician, with at least 5 years in construction supervision.
  • Ability to review and field verify I&E drawings. Experience as an I&E Designer is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of various PHSMA, OSHA and industry standards related to control engineering.
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70, NEC Article 250, NEC Article 392, API RP 500, API RP 540, NFPA 496, NFPA 497, NFPA 70E.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work both independently and with others.
