Career Opportunity: R&D Project Management Project Planner!

As an R&D Project Management Project Planner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the timely execution of project goals and objectives. You’ll work closely with Project Management Leads (PMLs) and R&D PMs to generate and update project plans, gather progress updates from cross-functional teams, and ensure accurate maintenance of our corporate planning system. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and have strong technical skills, this role is for you

Top Responsibilities:

  • Generate and update accurate day-to-day project plans under the direction of Project Management Leads (PMLs) or R&D PMs
  • Gather updates from cross-functional teams and monitor progress, focusing on critical path activities
  • Create and maintain standard Gantt views for team review and provide detailed planning knowledge during working meetings
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of our corporate planning system, Planisware, to support downstream Portfolio Reporting and resource forecasting
  • Provide professional planning input and support for multiple Project Teams
  • Collaborate with the Business Support Organization (BSO) to maintain Planisware compliance and facilitate system updates, improvements, and user training

Top Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Planisware for project planning purposes
  • Experience with planning applications such as Microsoft Project, Planisware, etc
  • Excellent technical aptitude and computer software skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, leveraging appropriate company tools

Experience:

  • Previous experience or interest in the drug development process and Project Management
  • Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences, mathematics, or engineering discipline
  • Project Management Professional Qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent, ideally in a life sciences, mathematics, or engineering discipline
  • Project Management Professional Qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus
