Job Title: Right of Way Lease Analyst
We are on the hunt for a meticulous and adaptable Right of Way Lease Analyst with a solid understanding of Land and Land Administration, particularly in relation to Midstream surface lease agreements and Term right of way agreements. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze lease agreements related to periodic rentals for land use, ensuring accurate interpretation and application of all terms.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments, adhering strictly to contractual terms and conditions.
- Collaborate effectively with Land Representatives, accounting teams, and other departments to resolve any arising issues.
- Maintain accurate records, track critical dates, and input lease data, land descriptions, and relevant documents into the Land database.
- Use digital mapping software to visualize land parcels and boundaries.
- Initiate and prepare lease renewals and terminations, provide interpretation and reporting of contract rights and obligations, and maintain lease and receivable files.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in reviewing and analyzing surface leases, term easement agreements, permits, and licenses.
- Attention to detail, adaptability, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with digital mapping tools for land visualization.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the administration of midstream surface rights and familiarity with easement and right-of-way (ROW) database agreement set-up.
- A Certificate in Land Management.
- Previous experience with contracts and document management in Midstream Energy (ROW), and proficiency with Oracle.
Education Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in surface lease contract administration or accounts payable.
