Join Our Team as a Risk Data Analyst!

Are you passionate about utilizing data to drive risk management strategies and maximize revenue opportunities? We’re seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our Risk Portfolio & Program Management team as a Risk Data Analyst

Top Responsibilities:

  • Identify and drive key initiatives to monitor credit and fraud risk
  • Utilize Python and SQL to pull, manipulate, and analyze data sets
  • Develop approaches to mitigate loss and responsibly grow revenue
  • Document and communicate results to stakeholders, escalating issues as necessary
  • Evaluate third-party vendor data quality and identify improvement opportunities
  • Craft dashboards to track fraud and credit-related KPIs and present findings to senior management
  • Collaborate with Data and Product teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business goals

Top Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience in data visualization and dashboard creation using Tableau
  • Ability to work with large data sets and perform complex data analysis
  • Familiarity with statistical methods and data science techniques
  • Experience with AWS (preferred)

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, data science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or related field
  • Experience using statistics and data science to solve complex business problems
  • Clear communication skills to translate complex results to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

  • Industry experience in e-commerce, online payments, banking, or risk management
  • Demonstrated experience developing key performance indicators and measuring success
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis

Expected Outcomes (6 to 12 months):

  • Comprehensive understanding of fraud and credit risk, with developed approaches for mitigation
  • Documented results and escalated issues addressed effectively
  • Evaluation of third-party data quality and identification of improvement opportunities
  • Creation of dashboards to track key initiatives and performance metrics
  • Collaboration with Data and Product teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business goals
