Job Title: Scientist
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory-based research to support oncology drug discovery and development.
- Execute a range of molecular biology, cellular biology, and biochemical assays.
- Maintain and manipulate 2D and 3D cell cultures, including spheroids and organoids.
- Perform gene transfer and genome editing using lentiviral and nucleofection methods.
- Utilize RT-QPCR and western blot for sample preparation for RNA-seq.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance project goals.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in conducting complex cell-based assays.
- Experience with gene perturbation techniques such as CRISPR/Cas9, shRNA, and siRNA.
- Familiarity with protein interaction studies, including co-immunoprecipitation (coIP).
- Knowledge of immunoassays such as ELISA and Meso Scale Discovery (MSD).
- Ability to design, optimize, and troubleshoot assays to evaluate therapeutic candidates.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in oncology research within an academic or industry setting.
