Job Title: Scientist

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize novel cell-based assays to support high-throughput screening (HTS), lead optimization, and mechanism-of-action studies for promising therapeutic targets.
- Design, implement, and optimize gene-editing workflows to enable the development and evaluation of cell-based functional assays.
- Investigate, identify, develop, and optimize new methods/techniques to generate reliable and reproducible data.
- Plan and implement experiments, adapting to changing project needs and developing problem-identification and resolution skills.
- Maintain proficiency with the latest scientific literature and contribute to the interpretation of results in group discussions.
- Adhere to good laboratory conduct, documentation practices, and safety guidelines.
Skills Required:
- PhD or MS with experience in gene editing, cell line generation, and cell-based assay development.
- Strong scientific foundation in the understanding and implementation of a wide range of cell-based assays (e.g., TR-FRET, BRET, AlphaLISA, HCS, luminescence and fluorescence-based reporter and/or label-free assays).
- Experience in the utilization of lab automation across assay development and screening.
- Track record of developing, implementing, and performing novel cell-based screening assays in microtiter plates to support early drug discovery research.
- Ability to design and implement gene editing (CRISPR knock out/in) workflows enabling the development of targets specific and disease-relevant cell-based assays.
- Basic knowledge of related and adjacent disciplinary areas.
