Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in elevating the Scrum maturity of the team and guiding them towards higher levels of maturity at a sustainable pace. This role is integral to the team’s success and requires a candidate who can foster a trusting and safe environment where issues can be raised without fear of retribution.
Job Responsibilities:
- Elevate the Scrum maturity of the team and guide them towards higher levels of maturity at a sustainable pace.
- Advocate for the use of Scrum and Agile practices within the team and organization.
- Facilitate daily Scrum, sprint review, and planning meetings to ensure full team engagement.
- Support and educate the Product Owner, particularly in refining and maintaining the product backlog.
- Assist in overcoming obstacles that hinder the team’s success and ensure the team’s progress is visible to all stakeholders.
- Foster a trusting and safe environment where issues can be raised without fear of retribution.
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Strong ability to build trust and rapport, creating a comfortable and effective workplace.
- Proven ability to coach team on Agile practices and ensure adherence to Agile methodology.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex messages and teach new concepts.
- Certified Scrum Master, specifically PSM I and PSM II (preferred).
