Job Title: Senior Agronomy Sales Representative – Direct Hire
Location: Colby, Kansas (On-site)
Job Summary: Our team is seeking a results-driven professional passionate about driving agricultural success through innovative sales strategies and direct customer engagement. We collaborate with local producers, empowering agricultural communities to achieve their goals with essential crop protection, nutrients, and advanced agronomic solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and producers to drive positive, long-term partnerships and support the region’s strategic goals.
- Forecast monthly and annual supply requirements and effectively manage the assigned territory’s profit and loss.
- Increase sales and margins by prospecting new customers, delivering on-the-farm presentations, and executing sales programs that maximize value.
- Prepare comprehensive sales presentations, contracts, and proposals, and collaborate with other divisions to grow business relationships and success.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED and at least four years of sales, business development, or related experience.
- Experience in outside sales, including making presentations, negotiating, demonstrating customer service, and working independently.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to formulate precise fertilizer and chemical applications.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
