Senior IT Auditor – DSA Engagement

Job Title: Internal Auditor
Location: Remote
We are on the hunt for a dynamic and adaptable Internal Auditor to assist our major tech client with their Year 2 DSA audit. The ideal candidate will liaise directly with Control Owners and Engineers to collect necessary evidence to address audit requests. Prior DSA experience is crucial.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute a variety of complex internal audits, and contribute to special projects and ongoing department initiatives
  • Conduct comprehensive testing activities for internal audits, documenting test procedures and results, and identifying control gaps and inefficiencies
  • Verify facts with auditee and prepare or oversee the preparation of audit workpapers, ensuring precision and clarity
  • Develop detailed internal audit engagement budget, monitor actual time versus budget, and identify overruns
  • Timely communicate findings and issues to the audit team and participate in the overall evaluation and communication of audit results
  • Mentor, guide, and support junior team members, provide performance feedback, and encourage upward feedback

Qualifications:

  • At least three years of recent experience in internal/external audit or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in IT, operational and/or financial auditing or risk management
  • Understanding of risks and controls
  • CISA, CPA, CIA or related certifications are preferred
