Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: 50% onsite at New Brunswick, NJ
We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in New Brunswick. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of innovative software solutions, while working in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with application developers to ensure that database designs are in alignment with the application’s data usage patterns.
- Work cohesively with a dedicated team to deliver robust integration solutions.
- Engage proactively with various technical groups to address and resolve technology-related issues, and to develop innovative solutions.
- Document and maintain comprehensive records of the solutions developed, ensuring transparency and ease of reference.
- Liaise with infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of solutions.
- Participate actively in regular and ad-hoc meetings related to Build activities, contributing valuable insights and suggestions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience with database tools such as SQL.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling.
- Prior experience in a data science role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Professional certification is preferred.
- Linux administration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a team player mentality.
