Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Lead
Location: Remote (Eastern or Central Timezone)
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage our client’s strategic sourcing process, providing direction, oversight, and methods for company contracts.
- Assign work responsibilities and provide technical guidance to business partners and Sourcing leaders.
- Execute best-in-class sourcing strategies, including sourcing project identification, risk management, price negotiations, and contract preparation.
- Understand and manage details of assigned commodity products and services.
- Drive sales, marketing, and change management efforts across all levels of the organization.
- Serve as a liaison between external providers and internal business partners for moderate to complex projects.
Skills Required:
- 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Excellent management, meeting, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of Products.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical ability and strategic thinking.
- Experience with contract drafting and management.
- Experience with Ariba Buyer/Professional is desired but not required.
