Job Title: Technician – Integration Engineering II – D
Location: Huntsville, AL
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain vacuum furnaces, sub-systems, and related equipment.
- Conduct Pyrometric testing and certify vacuum furnace equipment.
- Understand and operate vacuum system fundamentals.
- Process aerospace materials including stainless steel, copper, nickel and cobalt alloys, and titanium wrought alloys, casting, and additive manufacturing.
- Conduct pre and post process testing such as hardness testing.
- Perform preventative maintenance on vacuum furnaces.
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace vacuum thermal processing.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining vacuum furnaces and related equipment.
- Knowledge of Pyrometric testing and certification.
- Experience in processing various aerospace materials.
- Familiarity with hardness testing.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance on vacuum furnaces.
