Job Title: Training and Development Associate

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (Hybrid Schedule)

Job Summary:

  • Join our dynamic team as a Training and Development Associate, where you’ll play a crucial role in supporting training events in both virtual and live settings. You’ll collaborate with business unit trainers and leaders, manage training materials, and streamline processes to ensure efficient operations. This hybrid role requires occasional on-site support at our client’s location in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing commercial training events, including logistical support
  • Manage participant rosters and distribute reports from various systems
  • Handle communication for training classes, including welcome/travel logistics letters
  • Provide on-site support during live training events
  • Manage class surveys and archive training records
  • Support trainers with training tools and technologies

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years in Learning and Development, Event Management, Business, or Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology Industry OR relevant job experience
  • Proven ability to coordinate small to large training events
  • Strong customer service, time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong computer and database skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience with databases and business analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SharePoint, Learning Management Systems) is a plus
