Job Title: Materials, Parts, and Processes Engineer
Location: Remote
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in defining requirements for materials, parts, and processes in product manufacturing.
- Draft specifications and documents to manage material and process deployment.
- Evaluate new technologies for potential business applications.
- Conduct routine tests and audits to qualify suppliers.
- Analyze failures in materials, parts, or processes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop systems to meet user requirements.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering, or Chemistry.
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience.
- Experience in creating test plans and executing experiments.
- Ability to work with chemicals like paints and sealants.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and strong technical writing skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Over 2 years of related engineering experience.
- Experience with aerospace or automotive paints.
- Familiarity with statistical software like Minitab or JMP.
- Experience with 3D printing and CAD software.
- Programming skills or experience with Excel macros.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
